Câmara de Lobos
We start the tour in “Câmara de Lobos”, it is a fishing village, which is located on the west side of Funchal. The boats are housed in the small bay, creating a unique landscape on the island. The name was given by João Gonçalves Zarco, resulting from the abundance of monk seals that were in the bay. Locally, this place is well known for the traditional Poncha, a drink made with citrus, honey and rum from the region.

Cabo Girão
The tour continues to the second highest cliff in the world and the highest in Europe (580m) – (1775ft). One of the most tourist spots on the island. Here you will have a privileged view of Câmara de Lobos and Funchal. Due to natural erosion from the sea, caves and terrain were formed along the coast.

Ribeira brava
It is an important town in the Region, which connects the North and the rest of the west of the island. The word Ribeira (means
river) and the word Brava (means wild). The mother church is the main attraction of the village. Built in the 16th century, it has had some changes over time. You can also see the São Bento fort and at the same time have a coffee.

Ponta do Sol
This is considered the hottest municipality on the island and where the sun shines for the longest number of hours. It also has a beautiful beach and is a good place to eat or drink something.

Madalena do Mar
Madalena do Mar is a small village located on the southwest coast of the island with beautiful views of the sea and cliffs.

Calheta
Calheta is one of the most important municipalities on the island due to its size and sun exposure. It has a good beach and is known for the large production of local rum (sugar cane).

Prazeres
Prazeres is a Portuguese parish in the municipality of Calheta, with an area of 13 km². It is well known for having the pedagogical farm, where you can see a good variety of farm animals. It is a reference place to drink tea and cider (from the apple).

Ponta do Pargo
Ponta do Pargo belongs to the Municipality of Calheta. It has a road that connects with Porto Moniz, Satana and Funchal. It has an incredible view from the Lighthouse. It is a very touristy area. It is also possible to drink a good tea there.

Achadas da Cruz
Achadas da Cruz, belongs to the Municipality of Porto Miniz. It has an altitude of 575 meters from the sea. It is known for having a cable car that makes it possible to access a beach in a more reserved area.

Santa do Porto Moniz
Belongs to Porto Moniz. The Miradouro of Santa, in Porto Moniz, gives us a superb view over the village of Porto Moniz and the Ilhéu Mole.

Porto Moniz
Porto Moniz is located in northwest Madeira. The terraced slopes, lined with dry stone walls and fences, made of heather broom, protect the crops from the north winds. The main attractions are its beautiful and unique natural pools, one of the main points of interest on the island. From the natural pools to the pier you can find and try the local fish and seafood, as well as pay a visit to the aquarium, which is located in the fort of São João Batista.

Ribeira da Janela
Ribeira da Janela is a parish belonging to the Municipality of Porto Moniz. It is known for the existing rocks contrasting with the sea.

Seixal
Seixal is a picturesque village, where the vegetables and vineyards are surrounded by heather. Its coastline is incredibly surrounded by mountains. It has one of the most famous beaches on the island and has recently won a European award for having a unique landscape of vegetation contrasting with the sea.

São Vicente
Located in the north between two rows of basaltic lavas, São Vicente is a charming village with picturesque narrow streets and old houses. It is in this locality that the volcanic caves are found, but it is a tour that requires more time, certainly to be done at another opportunity.
